What To Expect

A typical hang glider tandem flight begins by meeting your tandem pilot at the coastal or mountain flying site. After signing a few waiver forms, you will be fitted with your own harness and safety helmet. Finally, you will be given a ten minute take-off and landing lesson. Launching a hang glider is easy, the only thing you will be required to do is hold on and run.

Bay Area Hang Gliding tandem instructors are ready to fly 7 days a week. All you need to do is call to get on the tandem schedule.

We will e-mail you with a confimation and the directions to the hang gliding site.

Each tandem flight lasts about 20 to 30 minutes and all equipment is provided.
